We really enjoyed our stay! The home was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beachfront location right on the property. The view was absolutely beautiful and made for a relaxing and memorable vacation. The private, secure parking was a great bonus and gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront getaway.
We had a wonderful time at Diana’s place, the apartment was clean, the AC works great, the towels were fluffy!!
And the beach was clean, they remove the sargasso every morning.
We’d comeback there again.
This apartment is a good location very close to the pool and walkout to the beach. The place does need a few upgrades, some kitchen cabinets were loose, doors and door frames are old, walls are pealing off and bathrooms definitely need updating to look nicer. If looks don’t matter to you then this place is perfect because of the location it’s in. They have necessary kitchen utensils if you plan on cooking. Staff taking care of the apartments and cleaning outside were friendly.
El alojamiento está increíble, súper accesible a la zona de playa y en donde la arena es muy suave. El condominio está súper bien administrado, y a diario limpian el sargazo que llega. La zona de mar está limitada y limpia por seguridad, hay palapas y camastros y duchas siempre limpios. Las habitaciones todas cuentan con aire acondicionado y lámparas que a la ves fungen como ventiladores. La zona de alberca igual siempre limpia y de hecho tiene un sanitario común limpio para que no corras siempre al depto. La vista es increíble a cualquier momento del día. El depto estaba impecable, sin duda volvería en cualquier momento, ojalá añadan un cancel en los baños porque hay que secar el agua que se escurre porque solo tienen cortinas en la regadera. Algo muy bueno es que está para llegar caminando al embarcadero para Isla Mujeres. Excelente alojamiento 5/5.
Host was very responsive & helpful. The unit had normal wear & tear. Noticed some wall cracks & the occasional bug all consistent with tropical regions. Overall great value for the price. The listing photos do not do it justice (beach had no sargasso). Soft white sand, calm clear water perfect for kids. The pool had a shallow section that my 5yr old absolutely loved. I would avoid staying out too late unless you have a really good mosquito repellent with deet because regular one does absolutely nothing. I went out for maybe 2min after dusk & came back in with 15+ bites. My little one had a really bad reaction to a bite on his forehead on the second night. I would watch any bug bites very closely. There are a couple restaurants across the street & a pharmacy up the street with a doctor on site after 9:30am that does free medical evaluation and can prescribe medication (not for true emergencies). The property is pretty quiet despite the nearby pirate ships that go out each evening.
LA COMUNICACIÓN, MUY BUENA, UNA MARAVILLA PODER SALIR DE LA PUERTA Y ENCONTRAR A PASOS LA ALBERCA Y EL MAR, LE HACE FALTA UN POCO DE MANTENIMIENTO A LA PUERTA DE SALIDA, LA COMUNICACIÓN CORRECTA Y SIEMPRE AL PENDIENTE, LE FALTA UN POCO DE MANTENIMIENTO GENERAL DE HUMEDAD, CHAPAS Y LA PUERTA DE ACCESO A LAS AMENIDADES, PERO PARA LO QUE YO LA OCUPE (SEMANA FAMILIAR) CUMPLIÓ CON LO QUE NECESITABA, DEFINITIVAMENTE VA A SER EL LUGAR DE REFERENCIA Y VOLVERÍA.
Amazing location right on the beach! You look out the window and walk out the door onto the beach/ocean. No need to go up and down stairs to get to the beach or the pool which I loved! The interior is basic but comfortable, could use a little more privacy with the window treatments, but AC blows cold and wifi is fast enough and reliable for working remotely. The security of this location is fantastic and the security guards are kind and friendly, I was here for 2 weeks and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable here. There are several good restaurants in walking distance, I really enjoyed eating at La Sirena’s Raw Bar, and Tacos Chachalacos. Also in walking distance to the ferry if you want to go to Isla Mujeres, which I highly recommend, very nice day trip to that little island :) The only thing here is the noise from nearby hotels and party boats, if you are looking for peace and quiet you might wanna bring earplugs as nearby music passes thru the walls/windows
The apartment was off of the main road, so it was peaceful and quiet. Right on the water with plenty of seating on the beach. I took the island ferry twice during the week, with the ferry a short walk from the apartment. Very happy with my stay. Plan to return next year if I can get this place again.
We were very happy with our stay at Diana’s place. It was as described, there were no surprises. We had a small issue with one of the air conditioners and Diana responded rather quickly and got the issue resolved to our satisfaction. We would recommend Diana to our friends and family any time. We loved our stay at her Airbnb.
This condo is in a wonderful location. Steps to a beautiful, well kept beach and pool. The sand is as fine as icing sugar.
The condo is not fancy but is priced accordingly. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen utensils need an overhaul (glassware, cutlery, cookware, etc) are old, tired and well worn. Only 2 of the 4 elements work on the stovetop. They don't provide any face cloths, only one hand towel per bathroom and one bath towel per person. Should be more but there is a washer/dryer so you can do a load of laundry daily. The AC works well.
Several nights of each week a resort nearby pounds their music really loudly until at least 11pm, but one night until 1am. We stayed 12 nights and we were happy with the place.
Great swimming, clean beach and nice neighbors.
We would like to return again next year.
